One thing that attracts tourists to this place is a lot of cloth shops around here. There are good and affordable cloth like jacket, t shirts, gaun and trousers. Generally when Korean people want to make hanbok which is traditional cloth, they usually buy materials at here such as silk. There is also many accessories such as button, broochs, and bracelets being sold at here.

buy silk for my mother...
for malaysian people, buying silk at here is a chance cause there is a shop that sell silk for baju kurung. the uncle seller also can speak malays cause many students malaysia who studying at korea bought silk from him. below is the map for this building shop. when you entering the building, you can see many silk shops at here.

there is also underground shop that sold man and lady clothes at reasonable prices (can be negotiate).yeah... I prefer go to the shop that we can bargain rather than buy at big and fancy stores. But if u want the branded product u may go to Myeongdong which is near from Dongdaemun about 2 or 3 subway station.
